The website allows supporters and policymakers to lead the cause for high-quality pre-k for three and four year olds, with the mission that all children enter Kindergarten prepared to succeed.

This week I was able to add another resource to my growing list. I like that I will be able to find information that I will be able to pass on to my teaching staff and will also be provided with opportunities to advocate for quality within the ECE field.
Emily, you mentioned sharing information with your staff... do you think this is also a good website for your parents? I like the preK now website also. It's important for parents to understand what a quality prek program should look like.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this will be good information to pass to parents. Most everything that is useful for staff is also beneficial for parents' use. Child care staff sometimes do not realize the role they play in giving parents good information. Since families are a child's most influential teachers, we need to give parents all we know to help them.
